Treescape Oxford was founded by Antony Johnson in 2006. What began as a small operation has grown into a respected family-run company known for professionalism, reliability, and high-quality tree care.
Antony began his career working at Oxford University Parks, gaining valuable experience caring for historic and veteran trees. He later developed his specialist climbing and technical felling skills while working for an established tree surgery contractor.
With a degree in Environmental Science, Antony combines academic knowledge with practical expertise, bringing a strong understanding of tree health, pests and diseases, and safe, efficient work planning.
Antony is passionate about sharing his knowledge with his team and believes it is an employer’s responsibility to support ongoing training and development. Team members regularly take part in training days and professional development opportunities, ensuring they continue to build their skills and grow alongside the company.
